Ridgefield NWR 08-02-11

I went up to Ridgefield this morning for the first time in awhile...  There wasn't a ton going on but still some cool stuff.  Per usual.  Bunnies were everywhere much to the delight of the dogs.

There's some kind of berry tree that always seems popular with waxwings and grosbeaks..  Today it was waxwings and finches..

The coots are growing up...

There were a few fresh batches of Pied-billed Grebes around for entertainment...

That was about it... It was no Hawaii, but nice to be around so many familiar faces.
