I walked the dogs along the Frenchman's Bar Trail in Vancouver this morning to get a real taste of fall..
Geese and cranes were present in overwhelming numbers, and in underwhelming numbers, a single Peregrine Falcon:
That's my third falcon for the week. Hmm. Other birds along the trail included Turkey Vultures, a male Northern Harrier, Red-tailed Hawk, goldfinches, Savannah and Golden-crowned Sparrows, flickers, blackbirds, Greater White-fronted Geese, and gulls. Good times!
