Road trip wrap up.

If you are totally sick of hearing about my recent trip then please just skip this post... I finally figured out how to get eBird to count the species I saw for me and here are the tallies:

Laurence guessed 174 species
Michele guessed 157 species
Sondra guessed 150 species and 15 lifers
Steve guessed 200 species and 60 lifers
Elvira guessed 163 species
Lauren guessed 173 species

Wow I really disappointed you all, didn't I?  Haha, Sondra with 150 species definitely wins that round, but I suppose Steve wins on lifers.

Still nice to be back despite the rain kicking in again..  This Black-headed Grosbeak at my feeder yesterday was a thousand times sweeter than 20 at the feeders in Madera...

For some reason the grosbeaks only come in the rain...  Good times!!
