Lazy birding.

Today I have yet another photo of a Great Horned Owl owlet to hold your attention for a brief moment:

Now that's out of the way I don't really have any more birds to share.  Don't fret, I'm going to point you in the direction of some good birds.  Kind of like birding on the internet- you tried to find some birds here, failed for the most part, so now you are off the next patch in hopes of Scissor-tailed Flycatchers.

I highly recommend you go and check out the most recent post at the weirdly underrated Texas blog, This Machine Watches Birds.  There you will find said flycatchers and much much more.

If that post has you wanting more birds with some deep thoughts on the side, check out a recent post on the weirdly overrated (joking!) California blog, Bourbon, Bastards, and Birds.  It will not disappoint.

What's that?  You just want to look at pretty pictures and think everyone should shut the hell up?  Ooh, yeah, go check out this local photo blog.  It will leave you drooling.

There you go, now you are all set for some lazy morning on the couch birding, just like me!

Good times!!

  1. Damn, that's a cool cloudscape. Thanks for the shout out FJ!

I am being completely lazy today. Instead of birding on my first full day off in over 2 weeks, I am staying inside and blogging hella. Maybe tomorrow I can go track down some migrants.
